So, I am a contractor or was I should say a contractor for about 6 months. I get a call from the third party agency that I’m contracted through that due to “budget cuts” and “staffing needs changing” I’m being let go and that my last day is Thursday. I wasn’t a perfect employee but I was pretty damn good and this is a slap in the face. Also the fact that the other contractors were brought on as full time was hurtful. Just goes to show that lay offs don’t discriminate and these companies have no problem throwing you to the wolves.
