I got a job offer today for a remote job that better fits me. I put in my 2 weeks notice today even tho my new job does not start until November 27th.
After receiving a nice email from my manager and hr accepting my 2 week notice I received a teams message from my manager asking me to resend the email saying my last day is today.
I asked a few questions as to why and did not get any real answers.
Are they trust trying to stiff me on 2 weeks of salary or is there something I'm not understanding?
What is the best way to proceed here should I give in and resend the email with a new termination date?
