It’s happening after 3.5 years.

Consultants came in. Metrics (whatever TF that means) are down. Solution? Mandatory return to the office full time in one month. We've been home since COVID. It was never “officially” permanent, but after almost 4 years we all assumed it was. Some of the younger employees were actually hired for advertised remote jobs. People who live 2 hrs away are expected to come to the home office. I was out the day of the meeting, but my coworkers told me it was all very robotic. They had a HR rep on the meeting and they basically told everyone too bad so sad. You're all coming back. I'm in shock and am so upset. I gotta think they're trying to forve us to quit, but I don't understand why because we're so short staffed as it is! Just for context I'm an administrative RN for a large home health care organization.…
