I've decided I'm going to quit my shitty corporate retail job. We're purposely understaffed, and I'm never able to finish my assigned tasks because they're always pulling me to work in another department. I'm one of the most “flexible and reliable” employees at my job, I always do whatever shitty task they need me to do and I'm over it. I get disrespected and harassed by customers, who are the fucking worst by the way. I've had to clean up people's shit, piss, and semen which is WAAAAAAY above my pay grade. Every day I come home I'm exhausted, frustrated, and angry. This job brings out the worst in me.
No 2 weeks notice, I'm going to leave in the middle of my shift and not look back . Maybe I'll never return from my lunch break, or maybe a customer will be an ass and I'll walk out. I want it to be inconvenient and painful for my store director and managers. $16.50 an hour isn't worth being treated like garbage.
