Spent so far an accumulation of 14-16 hours of crap to go through this insurance company to get a claim. A kid that carelessly rear ended me with his work truck, just a 2mph bump since late August and I haven't been able to get it in a shop yet. Everything is remote work now, which means I am on the hook for getting everything done, not the other guy. Also since my state has a minimum payout for damages, that means they get to pay for repair of the most minimum amount of work and not factor in loss of depreciation or stress.
Everything now is remote work, businesses are cutting back on office space at the expense of employees giving up space in their homes. Cheap as hell.
Sure I use self checkouts, sometimes not. But self check out claims for insurance is a special kind of bullshit! There's no more service anymore, the victim pays the biggest price. I wish to never relive this again.
