Talking wages with co workers

Do it. Plain and simple. Talking money with co workers prevents discrepencies from happening, or unfair pay scales. I have been at my job for 2 years and am considered a “lead man”, I have more certifications than everyone of my peers, and I just found out they all made a dollar more per hour, and $10 more a day in per diem. I thought this whole time we were all on the same pay scale, but the guy who hired me either lied to me, or didnt know what he was doing and had me in the system a level down on the pay scale. Could have been an honest mistake, but its thousands of dollars ive missed out on because of it. The problem has been corrected, and my current supervisor made things right, because he had no idea.
