Context: I made a post in May this year with my landlord asking the same thing, suggesting a rent increase far beyond what the rent control in my area allows for. I think he's aware of this since he's not simply stating the rent is increasing, he's asking if I agree to this new amount. Anyway, I get this text today and can only shake my head. Nothing quite like passing your investment risk on to your tenants. Here's hoping I don't get strangley evicted 🤞.
