I just started a new manufacturing job a couple weeks ago. Apparently all of the workers in my department voted to have one 20 minute break early in the morning instead of two 10 minute breaks spread across a 10hr shift. I know this might be a stupid question, but I thought you were allowed three 10 minute breaks in addition to your unpaid 30min lunch for a 10hr shift? Is this right? It feels quite odd that people would vote for this.
