After a year of complaints about my boss with no visible action taken, I sent a 6 page long email to HR about her. Got called down to basically be told that they investigated the claims I and others have made and found them unsubstantiated, that my boss is (by their logic) doing everything correctly, that I just don't like the aspects of my job she is asking me to do so I just need to respect the job and get back to it, but also if I have complaints about my boss that I should take them to her directly. Never mind the fact that one of the complaints is a fear of retaliation as my boss is well known to do.
I'm just fucking defeated.
