Being reprimanded for telling boss to leave work on time

For months now my boss has been saying the company is making big changes which means my job role, pay, days of work and hours will be changing. There has been very little info on what that will mean but apparently two weeks from now we will be doing that. Two weeks from now and I don’t know what my salary is going to be OR what I will be doing at work OR what even days I’m working.

When I ask my boss about this directly, they should spend hours complaining about how hard their day was, and gossips about other coworkers, and puts the blame on them for these delays. They also frequently complain about how hard it is to stay late every single day working. But half the time they stay late, it’s because they are gossiping to me about my peers. Once they stayed THREE hours after their shift just complaining.

This has been going on for a while and everyone is getting fed up with it. Finally one day after they stayed for over an hour I let them know that they do not have stay late to chat with us and they can go home. They took a lot of offensive to this and is demanding we have a formal meeting about MY behaviour. I’m so beyond frustrated by this!!!
