I’ve been applying to jobs religiously since July and I’m basically running out of places I can apply to. I don’t have a car so I have to walk to where I’m applying. Today, after MONTHS I finally landed a job interview. I could barely sleep but I got up early, put on my nicest outfit and walked 40 minutes to the interview. I get there just to be told that there’s no eligible managers until 4:30 pm today. So now I’m at home just waiting it out. I’m so frustrated that I wasted my time and energy just to get shooed away. I know I still have the interview but I feel like that was inconsiderate of my time and effort. My interview time was approved by one of the managers so they knew I was coming in. I desperately need a job so I can’t cancel but I feel so frustrated and annoyed. I just want to be able to pay my rent, I shouldn’t have to be walked over to do that.
