Exactly what it says. My partner's dog had a bowel obstruction a few days ago and had surgery- during work she noticed on the cameras that he wasn't doing well and asked to take him to the vet- they said she would have to take a write-up for absenteeism because the dog was not human or family.
She ended up getting her mom to take him to the vet, but by that time it was too late. If he was there a few hours earlier, he could have been saved, but he is septic and will have to be put down. He is 5 months old.
