My mental health has nearly hit full stop.
I started at this position in May of this year & over the past months she has openly read prospective employees resumes to our shared office space – mocking people’s (ethnic) names. She has gone on tangents regarding her anti trans opinions with like minded co workers…her training consists of a paper packet and diving right in – she paces around the office all day on her cell phone mumbling and completely disjointed to the point that when she actually talking to you- you have to verbally verify she is addressing you.
She recently hired her teenage daughter to work in our office – we work in sales and she’s giving her daughter warm leads when the rest of our office cold calls…we received our monthly report last week and her daughter made 80% more commission than anyone else in our division. (I’ve worked in sales for over 20 years)
I reported her behavior to our GM, since when I emailed him asking who I would speak with in HR, he said they don’t have a designated HR manager. Nothing has changed.
I have text proof of her illegal activity- at one point she announced how it’s illegal for co workers to discuss their wages and I texted her proof what she was saying is illegal and she then apologized over text.
In conversation with a coworker about this behavior my coworker disclosed our supervisor is buying pharmaceutical grade meth from another coworker as well…which may help explain her behavior.
I’m looking for another job…but I am extremely frustrated that I have to. I am a level headed & I have decades of experience in the field we work in.
I just feel like I don’t even want to be there & it’s definitely affecting my attitude towards her.
