My job has really been burning me out lately. My boss isn't the worst boss I've had. However, he is confusing as fuck, talks in circles and doesn't respect me. I've been applying for new jobs and even looking into changing fields. I saw on LinkedIn where I can say I'm “Open to Work” to everyone. I currently have that so recruiters can see but it hasn't brought me a lot of luck. I am connected to people at my current job.

Is it a dumb idea to change my LinkedIn setting to show everyone, including people I currently work with, that I'm looking for a new job? Is there anything else I can do to either get more eyes on my profile and/or is there something petty I can do against my work to stick it to them?
