Hi all! I (F23) currently work as a pizza chef in a restaurant making $20/hr. No one is allowed to work 40 hours a week because they would rather not pay overtime or provide benefits. Now my dilemma- I’m leaning towards this new job, if they pick me, but I was onboarded to this job in February with a verbal agreement that I would become a manager once they opened another location. They have just signed a lease, but I’m not sure I want to stick around. Like I said, I like the people, I like pizza, but this new job seems like the wise decision.

I would love to hear people’s thoughts and wisdom here. I’m sorry this is quite rambly, but my brain is full and want to hear some other perspectives 🙂 thanks!
