A lot of employers have switched to one way interviews from other traditional methods. I’ve found that asking for a phone interview or a face to face interview in lieu of a one way interview can tell you a ton about your prospective employer. If they decline to sway on their one-way interview process more likely than not that employer is going to treat you poorly in terms of respect, raises, etc. however, I’ve found that companies that are willing to void the one way interviews when asked are tons more likely to listen to you, give promotions and raises when deserved and offer much better working environments as compared to those who force one way interviews.
I hope that you can use this information to save yourself from a bad job.
