So I work at a factory (I won’t say which one cuz I could get in trouble) and I work 2nd shift Sunday – Thursday. 8-9 hours a day. My work pays more than every other place around but recently they’ve been cutting us down to only 3-4 days a week. Suddenly my 42-45 hr check is down to 32 -34. They did this without mentioning anything and after about 2 weeks I went to the office cuz I was tired of only working 4 days and they told me that since orders are low they don’t need us working 5 days until they’re back up but the problem is if this keeps up I’ll be way behind on bills…
It’s so unfair because it’s not my fault that orders are low, I don’t work in sales yet I’m getting punished for it. I looked up my states labor laws and of course they said they can cut my hours anytime, OFC they can! This is such bullshit! I want to get another job but like I said mine is the highest paying by far in the area.
