What happens if you can’t work?

I'm able to work.. I even like my projects and the people I work with are nice.. but I just can't handle working full time hours.. every job I've had I get burnt out so fast, I start to get sick, my neck and back get stiff. I have no energy. No inspiration. And soon I can't even get myself to go to work anymore and cant even conplete the projects.. if I was able to work on my own terms and take breaks enjoy the outdoors on a nice day, spend time with my family and work when I have the inspiration it would be okay.. but being forced to work 8-5 every day in some dark cubicle from first light til darkness with people chattering all around you is just maddening.. I know others have it worse.. and in the past people worked more hours, and I need…

I know others have it worse.. and in the past people worked more hours, and I need to work or else I'll go homeless..

But what happens if despite all of that I still can't handle working the full 40 hours..?

I usually eventually quit until I run out of money again trying to work for myself and have to take on the next employee job that I'll inevitably not be able to handle.

What happens to people who in theory can work but just can't handle it? Am I pretty much supposed to end up homeless or begging for help since I can't seem to be productive enough to afford to live?
