Stuck. A poem.

Every day. Every morning, every night. I bear through it. The cold. The stinging, relentless cold. I need help. But the help is helping itself. Indulgence, at my cost. Cast away by a caste of rich. While I grunt and labor. For them. For nothing. Stuck. Every day. Every morning, every night. My house suffers it. The cold. The sharp, painful cold. I need help. Working in circles, ends not met. Suffering, through all effort. Living without heat. While I grunt and labor. For them. For nothing. Stuck. Every day. Every morning, every night I walk through it. The cold. The biting, vicious cold. I need help. Walking two and a half miles. Twice a day, everyday. Freezing, just for work. No money, no vehicle, just me. While I grunt and labor. For them. For nothing. Stuck. I can't take it. This burden, this cold. I pick myself up. I…

Every day.

Every morning, every night.

I bear through it. The cold.

The stinging, relentless cold.

I need help.

But the help is helping itself.

Indulgence, at my cost.

Cast away by a caste of rich.

While I grunt and labor.

For them. For nothing.

Stuck.

Every day.

Every morning, every night.

My house suffers it. The cold.

The sharp, painful cold.

I need help.

Working in circles, ends not met.

Suffering, through all effort.

Living without heat.

While I grunt and labor.

For them. For nothing.

Stuck.

Every day.

Every morning, every night

I walk through it.

I continue to toil.

Suffering my fate. Getting nowhere.

Fighting to go forward.

Yet staying right where I am.

Year.

After year.

After year.

Aimless. Endless.

Stuck.

I need help.

But the help is helping itself.

Indulgence, at my cost.

Cast away by a caste of rich.

While I grunt.

While I labor.

For them.

For nothing.

Just…

Stuck.
