Increasing workload and no new hiring – Need suggestions on what to do next

I am 30F. Working as a Hardware-in-loop (HIL) test engineer for past 4 years. In 2022 got shifted to a new team due to reorganisation. In last two years we had two managers. Our last manager left in Aug, so we were mostly reporting to our leads. The workload was pretty high all throughout this year. My lead started her maternity leave this month. Instead of bringing in a replacement, they just distribute her work among me and 2 other colleagues. This is over and above our workload. I am basically attending all my meetings as well as hers. Plus other junior colleagues we have, they joined only 3-4 months back, so we have to support them to get onboarded onto projects. I have been in talks with management for onsite for last 1.5 years but since the manager kept changing it was difficult. Now they are saying only critical…

Now they are saying only critical projects will be considered and not giving me a clarity. The workload is too high, so much so that I started facing health issues. When asked if there will be new hiring, I got to know they will be keeping the same team for next year. I am really not sure how to handle so much work. Even on weekends keep thinking about the pending things. On weekdays I extend in the night to finish my work since I was attending meetings all day. I try delegating some of my work but again I do have to support if anything comes up. Only good thing has been that we have wfh and can come to office only as needed. But the amount of work just doesn't decrease. I am married for almost 3 years now. And finding it very difficult to give time to my partner or at home. We end up fighting that we are not able to spend time together. We are planning to start a family next year, but with the work and exhaustion I am just not able to focus on personal life. I am thinking of changing my team as the leave and employee policies are good so don't wish to change the company alltogether. Looking for some suggestions!
