The new boss in my department wants everyone to have lunch together once a month for “team building”.
One of my coworkers hate me and I don’t know why. The other is an old man with the emotional maturity of a toddler. My manager is close to my age but I don’t think we’ll be close because of our dynamics. And the new boss wants to be a cool fun boss and have everyone singing Kumbaya.
I want to quit but I don’t want my manager to hate me because I don’t want to leave a two weeks notice. Also, I’m staying because I really need the insurance.
I have so much work I need to do before I leave for vacation and can’t really afford to take my half hour unpaid break with them.
