I got fired like two weeks ago and my final paycheck is suppose to come today. My fear is they will hold it over my head because I haven't returned their laptop. It honestly just escaped my mind in my grief and loss of dignity and my job. I need that money to pay rent. I have NEVER missed a rent payment. I am already stressed about paying for shit and now it is 3 am and I am panicked about this. I keep re reading this letter and wondering if I am going to be getting my pay. How screwed am I?
