Yesterday my manager gave us water bottles and calenders as thanks. Not even a pizza party. My coworker said they always give them every year and last time he got a “fun” sized snickers inside it. I can't believe they thought that was ok?
We didn't even get a thanksgiving dinner, another department had one but there was no formal email stating there would be a company thanksgiving dinner. I can't believe companies think getting a cheap water bottle is enough to show appreciation to their employees. It's so lameeeee. I can't wait till I can leave this place.
