I have been working for a restaurant for awhile now and I’ve had more than 5 paychecks get returned weeks after cashing them. I just have been going directly to the bank to get cold hard cash now but today I went and they told me there’s not enough money in the account to cash the check. Is this illegal? I know I should be looking for a new job but it’s hard for me to since working anywhere in this city sounds like hell.
