I put my two weeks in and my boss as done every possible to show he is bitter and salty. He is asking for more items to be completed by EOD and on urgent timelines on top of the already existing pile. On top of that he wants to me attend an event next week because he needs my help to record it. First, I agreed to this out of respect and wanting to leave on good terms but the past few days he has done everything possible to cut me off in conversations, not responding to me telling him that the deadlines are unrealistic and leaving me out of conversations and email threads regarding said event that later he could hold me accountable for. I don’t want to attend with the possibility of things going wrong and being blamed and feeling disrespected after being cut off so many times. I only have 2 remaining days following the event before my last day.
Would you go to the event, also a 2 hr drive there and 2 hr drive back, when normally you wfh or would you not go and leave in 2 days (in that case what would you say)?
