I feel lied to as a millennial.

Back in 2009 when I graduated, my school told me I need college or a trade job to succeed in life or I'd be doing the bare minimum and living in n apartment all my life. I couldn't find anything I really wanted to do, so I decided “fuck it I will just stick with retail and rent an apartment and be good the rest of my life”. Well, now I'm still in retail and not even making the minimum for an apartment. Like I don't want a million dollars, I just want to be paid enough to have my utilities, rent and food. But no, I can't unless I get a freaking trade and I'm not skilled enough or have the brainpower for that. Edit: yall are missing the point, it shouldn't matter what I do, if I work for 40 hours anywhere, I shouldn't be borderline homeless.
