Mandatory uniform, but workers needs to buy their own uniform.

Note: This is not in the U.S.

Saw a notice at this hardware store yesterday. There was this printer paper taped behind the cashiers that stated:

1. Full uniform is now mandatory.

2. There is 6 different outfits, one for Mon – Sat. Also different outfits for summer and winter. Making it 12 different mandatory uniforms.

3. All workers have to pay the outfits themself. Workers can order the uniforms, this will be added to their staff account and deducted from the salary and the end of the month.

4. Anyone not in uniform will get a write up.

Then added a list of the uniforms and their prices.

Shirts were going for $14, at most a shirt at a normal will go for $4. Jackets for winter is $47, at a normal store $21.
Pants are $20, at a normal store $11.

They are asking theit employees to pay for clothes double the price you would get at a normal store.

What a joke.
