I've been dealing with a frustrating situation lately. I am 17 years old and with qualifications for programming and bilingual call center roles, but, I can't land a job. After a safety concern (someone threatening to kill me because Mexico) forced me to take a break from school, I decided to seek employment to combat boredom and feel productive. However, my attempts at securing remote programming gigs or positions at call centers have been fruitless, largely due to age restrictions and market competition from people with work experience and degrees. Even applying to places like McDonald's and Starbucks hasn't yielded any callbacks. Despite having the necessary skills, availability, and legal documentation, I keep hitting roadblocks, such as the requirement for an INE card, which I won't receive until after my 18th birthday. It's a frustrating situation that highlights a larger issue in Mexico. Any suggestions on how I can start earning income, even if it's minimum wage?
