Manager docked a 30 minute lunch break when I only worked exactly 5 hours. Am I crazy?

Yesterday I worked 9am-2pm. I was supposed to work til 4pm but I left early, meaning I didn’t take my lunch because Ontario laws state you only get a 30 minute lunch break if you work MORE than 5 hours. I looked at my time slip and he clocked me in and out for 930-2pm when I started at 9 and didn’t take a lunch. He’s wrong for this, right? I told him he shouldn’t do that and he said because I was supposed to leave at 4, and chose to leave early, that I still get a lunch break taken off. I made the argument that if I was supposed to work a 12 hour shift but left after 5 hours, would I still get an hour lunch and he said yes, I would. This makes no sense to me at all. Please someone tell me I’m not crazy.…
