Hey everyone,
My work environment is very chill, and as long as you get your work done on time the managers don't really care. Unfortunately the owners are very micromanaging, but usually are not around.
Last friday my coworker received a call in the middle of the day from his girlfriend of 5+ years saying she wants to break up with him and he needs to move out by Sunday.
Obviously this made him very upset, he yelled for a few minutes and then told his manager he was leaving for the rest of the day.
This morning they call him in, tell him his reaction was inappropriate and that he is fired.
He is devastated. Most of the team is devastated. He is a good man with a great work ethic.
Can he do anything? Can the rest of us do anything?
This is in Ohio where there are no workers rights
