I swear we are worked as if we are immortal, as if every day comes just like the next with endless time to give and throw around. There are moments I could have had with family I can never get back because of having to work and times where I was too exhausted to participate in my own life outside of work. I feel like time just slips away without care because we are worked like we are going to live forever, as if every day is not precious and every moment can just be relived at any time.
