Ask lots of questions or you’ll regret it

Today I resigned from a job that I had barely started a month ago. The job position from the beginning was a big lie. They made me believe I would be doing graphic design and social media management when in reality I’d be working every responsibility that you can think of. I did call center work, reception, and even some cleaning. I was humiliated throughout my experience because I didn’t know medical terminology and systems. So my co-workers would constantly belittle me. I consistently feel heartbroken because I knew I’d been lied to. Unless you ask “are there additional responsibilities” or “what are the day-today expectations” do not enter blindly assuming the job description you applied for will be the same you’d be working for. Remember interviews are a two way street and you also need to ask lots of questions.
