At 6:30 pm, two hours after leaving work, I got an email saying my one-year contract was terminated immediately. There was no notice except for a meeting in February saying that I needed to improve my work. I thought I had and I’ve heard nothing to suggest otherwise. My (former) supervisor has canceled scheduled one-on-one meetings twice in the past two weeks because she had nothing to discuss. The second time, earlier this week, I asked if there was anything pressing in needed to know about and she said there wasn’t. I don’t know whether to shit or go blind.
