Just started a new job and they don’t do overtime under the justification that my hours will vary. As a merchandiser most of my days can be done in 5 hours but I don’t have to clock out until 8hrs. This week in training I’ve been with a trainer running routes and every day has been over 8hrs. Asked my trainer about it and he said to still punch out even though I’ve been helping with a salaried route. Once I’m through training my shift should be normal. Should I make a fuss?
