I was able to get my separation agreement in writing but they're asking me not to sign until the last day. Kinda odd as my gag order from the agreement isn't in place until it's signed. My assumption is they're going to try and not honor it.
I did get to see the new job posting however. It's my exact same job with a lower title actually. The base pay is also $5-12k more per year.
I'm in CO and looking up labor laws for redundancy as I'm pretty sure my job is no longer redundant if someone is doing all the same work.
I'm gathering all messages and info needed on my end as far as I can tell. I'm not gonna sign the agreement until I can confirm it's not going to screw me.
How should I play this?
