Hi all, today I forgot my badge at home, so couldnt clock in, and I told my boss. Nothing happened until I already worked for an hour and a half, where they told me I had to go home and get it (1h round trip).
They told me I will not be getting paid for the time I already worked before going back to get my badge. Keep in mind we literally have slips that can be signed to override the actual clock in/out time, which I used in the first week of working there before I had a badge.
This looks like blatant wage theft to me. Im in Oklahoma which doesnt have great labor laws, so what can I do about this?
Edit: went to the next person up the chain and got it resolved. I almost didnt because its only an hour and a half but it didnt sit right with me ethically
