From a self-employed quite wealthy business owner: Fuck five day weeks, and fuck making people go into the office

I own a construction business. I run it ethically. People can work as much or as little as they like. I make no money from the labor of those in my company. (I do from my own labor and on subcontractors, materials, shop time, etc.) I’m well off and I’m married with no kids. Both my wife and I come from lower working class backgrounds. She’s a teacher, paid her way through college before we met. Both Gen X. Don’t own a house as I’m not in the business of buying value-stripped assets. (We live in the Bay Area.) I just want to lend my support to fight against the bullshit not a five day week and for those of you being forced back into offices for no reason other than being controlled.

I don’t have any answers other than a complete national general strike. I think that’s the only remedy to all the bullshit. The demand should be a proportional national maximum wage.

The powers that be will fold in days.
