My work is having a mandatory meeting of 1 hour. We are located in California. I tried looking up the laws for this but I found something saying about getting sent home you get half the hours or 2 hours whichever is more. I couldn’t find anything about if they schedule you for only one hour and are not cutting your scheduled day. Some people have a 45 minute commute and don’t want to waste their time for 1 hr pay.
