Exactly as it says. I’ve been a long time lurker on this sub, basically a few years now. I also was around for the WSB crunch days. We have 2.8 million people on this sub and many more on the subs we are constantly reposted to. We have months of time to work together and plan a vote. We might not make a world of difference. But if this sub can come together collectively as a unit and pick a non R/D candidate to vote on then we may just start a rising tide.
Im not going to pretend to be what I’m not however. I’m not a politically savvy person. I don’t know all the other candidates. I’m not starting this thread with the hopes of persuading anyone to any candidate. I just hope to be the person who shifts the snow just enough to start the ball rolling.
I would like to propose that the mods put a permanent post up for discussion of candidates other than Trump and Biden. A place for the community to come together to pick our own golden child to go vote for. A place for us to all have discussion on how to help fix this mess in what little way we can. If this sounds like a good idea to you as well then let’s get this post to the front page of this subreddit . Hell, maybe even of Reddit itself. The more visible it is the more the ball rolls.
