I’ve been searching for the last 3 months for a summer job and I’ve been getting nothing. I recently applied for Unemployment and I originally qualified for 250 a week, which I would’ve been able to work with. Had a short phone interview with them yesterday afternoon and they cut my benefits in half. I literally can’t even use it to help my already shitty situation. I’m up to my god damn nipples in credit card debt that I’ve been trying to pay off, but I just don’t make enough money in either job I work and since they’re at a college and a high school, they’re off for the summer and I’m making absolutely nothing. This is why people unalive themselves. I don’t even know what else to do. I’m applying for a job at the college I work at right now but who knows when I’ll even get an interview. I feel so lost, I’ve applied for everything I could possibly think of and no one has called me back. Even McDonald’s, who had said I would get an interview scheduled, has yet to contact me. Thankfully I’m living with my parents, unfortunately not by choice but because I don’t even make enough to live in a small studio apartment. I’m just so fucking lost right now. I never imagined turning 30 and feeling this lost.
