Hey!! I am a new intern at a company. And there are times when people on my small team will leave early because later in the day, around 4-5 p.m., things get really, really bad. I have watched YouTube and TV shows while waiting to get out at 5. So because of this, some people on my team tend to leave early, and I asked one of them if it’s common to leave early, and they said that the supervisor didn’t care as long as work was finished and at least one person was in the office. So I was debating if I should leave early as well. I’m just a little discouraged, even though my supervisor is super cool and wouldn’t care. I am an intern, and the others are full-time, so I feel like I shouldn’t. Any thoughts?
