I’ve only worked at my new job for about four weeks, but in those four weeks it’s been made clear to me that my needs aren’t important.
When I signed on, I was under the impression that I would be working maximum 25 hours after training. After training I’ve been working 28. I said I have other shit to do. Too bad, still 28 hours. I was told by my manager that I wouldn’t have to work on Sundays. I was immediately asked to work for ten hours every Sunday. I’ve had to constantly reiterate what I’ve said, but my supervisor still isn’t listening to me. So I’m quitting! I’m not coming back in tomorrow. I don’t care anymore. I’m not a sucker, and I’m not gonna be busting my ass for $10 an hour anymore. I also haven’t been fucking paid yet so you can believe I’m gonna be asking for my paycheck and getting the hell out. Fuck this place.
