The whole point of the website was job hunting with candidate profiles. Now, candidate profiles are at the front of the entire website and the job section is inundated with recruitment companies and their fake job postings.
I filtered out the promoted jobs recruitment companies use and guess what? Using “Data” as the search term, there were no job postings from actual companies for the first 52 pages. If you don't believe me, please give it a look yourself.
I'm only having people get back to me by looking on Indeed/Google Jobs and then placing my application directly with the company, WITH a bit of research to make sure I'm not applying to fake companies.
Why should I as a candidate have to put up with all of this bullshit? If we live in a capital society, why are there no concrete laws on how to respect candidate time? It's all companies hoovering up data, recruitment staff arbitrarily trying to meet KPI's via fake postings all the while there's only 20 or so applications that (probably) get pulled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
This entire thing is a waste of fucking time. We're in late stage capitalism, there's no opportunities and everybody is just scrambling to get their own at the cost of everybody else. It's pathetic.
