As the title says, I'm currently still looking on Indeed for employment while employed, because part time under $12/hr isn't going to help pay the bills, even with me and the hubby being DINKs(Dual Income, No Kids). This job that sent me an email via Indeed saying they want me to apply but they had some questions I'm sure they didn't like my answers to.
“What does the phrase 'the customer is always right' mean to you?” I proceeded to inform them of the full quote and that as long as it isn't breaking policy, law, or OSHA, I don't care how gross or tacky it seems, it's fine.
I noted on their job posting they were “100% drug free!” Okay, does that include medications that are prescribed and used as prescribed to improve quality of life? Does that include recreational drugs like alcohol and cigarettes outside of working hours? I was tempted to ask if caffeine was okay, such as coffee and energy drinks. (Yes, caffeine is a drug.)
All in all, if they don't hire me because of these questions, it's honestly bullet dodged. Weeds out the toxic workplaces. I also kinda like the place I work. There's some small red flags, but it's mostly just one employee I don't get along with (and is 90% of the flags) and if he doesn't like me, he can keep ignoring my presence.
