I just saw a post where someone was required to commute during the hurricane, and it reminded me of when I was required to go in to the office with 8in of snow the night before ( even tho I technically had the option to work from home and brought my laptop home because duh, snowstorm).
Here's my hot take – If you want to put my health or car or belongings in dangers way by requiring me to commute when its not necessary, you need to be held liable if I slide off the road into a ditch. Call it stupid management insurance.
