Im new at this company, I’ve arrived 10 days ago and yesterday while I was away from my desk for (another) pointless meeting, one of my teammates went behind my back on my laptop and sent an email saying I’ll bring breakfast to everyone tomorrow.
I truly don’t want to do it, those are my workmates, not my friends, and being forced to do something I don’t want isn’t my stuff I guess (I wake up everyday to go to the office, isn’t that enough) I’ve explained them I won’t bring food. They went « ah come on dude ! »
I feel like I will have to bring something to not appear as a party pooper but I really don’t want to spend 30€ on pastry for my workmates … what do you say ?
