Lets Go On Strike

Send this to your boss today! Im not quitting but im going to go on strike. Anyone can join me and are encouraged to do so 🙂 My reasons are as follows: corporate america has built a system for a workplace that encourages breaking people psychologically such that they neither want to leave the workplace nor fight for more than they have. They will always provide the excuse that the bottom line will be severely nevatively impacted but they refuse to acknowledge that the bottom line has to be so high to feed the top 1% personal bank accounts. While our corporatation does treat us well, they still fall sufferance to the same plagues that other ethical and morally “in-the-right” corporations do; which is still the same as above but something worse: by treating basic needs such as healthcare as privliges, by treating employees as interchangeable, and as if we…

Im not quitting but im going to go on strike. Anyone can join me and are encouraged to do so 🙂

My reasons are as follows: corporate america has built a system for a workplace that encourages breaking people psychologically such that they neither want to leave the workplace nor fight for more than they have. They will always provide the excuse that the bottom line will be severely nevatively impacted but they refuse to acknowledge that the bottom line has to be so high to feed the top 1% personal bank accounts. While our corporatation does treat us well, they still fall sufferance to the same plagues that other ethical and morally “in-the-right” corporations do; which is still the same as above but something worse: by treating basic needs such as healthcare as privliges, by treating employees as interchangeable, and as if we are machines that can work reliably and consistently 40+ hours a day/5-7 days a week, they degrade us from people to workers and thus degrade our needs from human to machine. Not to mention the retail hellscape has shifted severely and the needs, wants, and expectations of consumers is forcing monopolies to occur to begin with and while this will be inevitable, maintaining the current status quo will simply cause all those demands to be met ensuring customer service without placing more into the employees

My strike will end when all employees are entitled to a minimum of $18.50/hr starting pay corporate wide, with all current employees gaining an additional $1.50/hr raise for existing before this change, and all employee wages must be adjusted to accommodate for the wage change. Additionally, all wages must keep up with social security COLA adjustments. In order to accommodate for this i recommend closing the gap from the top 10% of earners in the corporate machine and reallocating below. I recognize small business america cannot do this, but corporate america can and must.

If food can get more expensive then so can my labor.
