I simply cannot win at work lol.
I'm telling you what man, working for someone is getting pretty god damn ridiculous these days. I mean what the fuck do they actually expect? I get up and show initiative and stay busy I get punished with points over the dumbest shit. I sit at my station and JUST do my station all of a sudden they're taking our chairs cause were not doing enough lol.
I work at a slow ass store. They put me on shifts with kids who don't know how to do shit and don't give a fuck to do it right. So I go do it. I know how to do basically everything within my power there, I got leadership experience so I basically take lead of these kids and all I do is have em do the meat and potatoes of the job. I deal with customers, I fix shit, I stock shit, I do my job and some every god damn day. I show up early every god damn day. I see something needs done I just fucking do it. I prefer to do it cause if I do it it gets done good. With a whole ass. lol
Nd these mother fucker in corporate man, our regional manager is basically a useless fuck who cant get no bitches so he sits on the cameras all day long watching us, probably beating his dick at the thought of giving a point for one of their many redundant ass hoops they been throwing at us anymore. I swear to god I think these people just get bored. I think they sit around a fucking table, and just fuck around all day. This dude is on the camera 12 hours a god damn day just beating the shit outta his dick. Looking like a down-syndrome Bobby Hill.
Anyways, to just give an example, just a fucking drop out of the bucket of bullshit I've dealt with for the past 7 months now.
Today I was scheduled with these two kids. I put em in the tunnel and I worked the Kiosks. Usually we work the Kiosks because corporate wants us to sell memberships and help customers figure out what they want to buy and pay for it. We started using these new iPad systems that required us to be there scanning peoples cards with the camera. Well today the IPad system was down so we went back to using the Kiosks. Now when we use these Kiosks nobody REALLY needs to be there for customers to buy stuff and all these things. Your really more of a salesperson/door greeter when the Kiosks are working. ANYWAYS, these two kids are good kids, but they aren't really worth a shit professionally speaking. They arent the type to go looking for shit to do, or go above in any way.
So as the days going on it gets real slow, So I decided to check the parking lot real fast since I hadn't seen these kids do a restock in a few hours and I wanted to make sure people had stuff they were gonna need out there. There wasn't so I went and grabbed some towels, refilled the bottles, did a quick scan on the trash cans and while I was out there maybe 4 cars came thru and you know since we was on Kiosks today, they was already used to that and didnt really need me at all anyways, I mean not one hang up lol. They pulled up paid their money and went on thru like they woulda did if I were out there. Wasn't no big deal at all, while I was still in the lot, I had two customers who's equipment wasn't working so I took a look and fixed the equipment quickly and it must of only been like 20-25 minutes of me being away from the pay station, Im getting texted by the GM who's being texted by the regional manager who sitting there jacking his dick on the cameras probably in some lonely dingy hotel room getting all hot and bothered cause I walked away to do some shit that needed done. Even if those kids were out there stocking shit, they wouldn't know how to fix the shit like I do they woulda came and got me anyways. I get punished for doing shit they dont do, im not a boss im not gonna go bossing people around at my wage, but I also care bout my job and want the customers happy so I fucking throw that shit on my back and end up getting punished for being the god damn backbone of my store. Its fucking ridiculous.
You get punished when you do nothing and you get punished when you do something lol, I cannot wait to quit this job man.
