About to quit my job. Had enough.

I work at a quick lube shop that prides itself in doing things faster than a jiffy, with the oldest motor oil brand in the country (150+years) so do with that what you will. I started working for company mid 2019 in Ohio in a corporate shop location, then moved to Utah to continue my career from the comfort of my home state, in a franchise shop location. I ended up getting put on pip and recovered, only to be fired shortly after pip expired. They fought me like crazy over unemployment, and eventually won. Whatever though, that's in the past. Had another job for a while, until my wife convinced me to move to Texas. Since I couldn't install appliances remotely, I had to quit that job, I miss it though. Flash forward to getting a job at same oil shop company back in October 2023. I shouldn't have…

I shouldn't have ignored the signs and red flags, but I legitimately love this work and what it allows me to do with my life and my time. Immediately after being hired, I was handed my employee handbook and told to basically ignore it, and that they just do everything online (which is partly true, but there's a difference between the online university and the book work)
My trainer never went over anything in the book at all ever, to this day none of my higher ups have opened my book to verify my work or progress.

The only way to get promoted is by having your higher ups follow through and approve your work, as well as getting you certified in each of the three main positions in the shop. They've flat out refused to certify on paper, they just say I'm good to go. Okay whatever time goes on and I find out that everyone has large problems with/at this shop. There's no leadership presence either. My manager will sit downstairs or in his truck in the lot for HOURS while we've got cars rolling through. Nobody cleans up the shop, and I end up having to take the brunt of the cleaning, because I'm scheduled as the closing bottomside tech and nowhere else. Speaking of schedule, I've had my hours cut dramatically since a couple months ago, starting with getting OT most weeks, to this week where I'm scheduled for 9.5 hours total. Only working one day. To be fair, Part of this was a request to be able to be home more, so we agreed (verbally) that I would have a better schedule for that. Time goes by and they keep cutting hours and I have the option to put my thumb up my ass, or quit. And I don't take anal.

So can I get a little help here? I'd love to know what I can do to mitigate loss and get what I deserve.

(Apologies for the slightly disorganized nature of this post, I'm just fuming and am still learning how to stand up for myself employment-wise)
