I'm just wondering because I've been applying to jobs that I am just the right amount of qualified for and still getting the “we have decided to pursue other candidates” email.
I have optimized and tailored my resume using ATS analysis and I have condensed my resume to one page. I don't lie on my resume, just exaggerate a little.
For the people who have applied to a job where they didn't have a person help them just by knowing the right person, what did you do to land that job?
And yes I know about fake job postings and internal job postings.
